My grill is right outside the door the my shop, so I can get 4 to 12 minutes of un-interrupted shop time depending on what I'm cooking and how long it needs to hang out before being turned over. This box was done almost completely while cooking and its made up of some glued up scrap of Maple and Canary Wood (left over from the last project - the cutting board).
I am a super novice on the lathe, but I do find it relaxing and a lot of fun. The box is about 3 3/4" inches tall and 3" in diameter. The inside of the box is only 1 3/8" deep. I was having some trouble hollowing it out so I stopped shallow so as not ruin what I had.
