Wood source = firewood. I have some spalted birch in triangle form right now. Beautiful box. The fact you saved it from becoming BTUs is icing on the cake.

Nice recovery from firewood. The spalted portion is really amazing when it came from a natural way such as firewood where a lot of fungi tribe.

Very nice. There is a certain satisfaction milling your own lumber from found wood. I have some huge juniper in my yard and have made a few projects from them. The odor from juniper is like cedar on steroids.
