Project Information

This has been busy year - I have managed to make quite a few furniture restorations. In a few cases, it was mostly rebuilding a topcoat, but some pieces required hardware replacement, repairs, re-staining as well.

Here are more pictures:

This coffee table was badly scratched, the paint on the edge needed to be restored.

This table was scratched as well.

The chest of drawers needed new topcoat, and had mismatching hardware. I also added drawer stops to make them easier to use, sanded and waxed the drawers bottoms, squared them up and attached the bottoms to the frames with hot glue, and added some boards to make the whole frame more rigid.

These two identical Craftsman nightstands were picked up in two separate thrift stores - one in Florida and another one in Washington. They were in okay state, just needed some staining and refinishing.

These tables needed new topcoat.

The lyre table required some repair - one leg was damaged and was shorter than the others. New paint and topcoat finish applied.

This art deco waterfall nightstand was all beat up and required some repair as well as restaining and refinishing.

On the left, there is another waterfall chest of drawers. It misses some of the original hardware but otherwise is fully functional.
