Workshop Information
Location
United States
We just added about 400 sqft onto our house with a daylight basement underneath. My workshop takes up the 400 sqft below the new master suite. It is approximately 15'x25' and I am still trying to figure out the best layout. I picked up some old kitchen cabinets from a buddy that was trashing them. I also grabbed some old desktops to make into a countertop for the cabinets and mounted up some peg board. I built a wood storage rack similar to the Wood Whisperer.
Tools:
I just upgraded to a 10" Delta Unisaw and am loving it. I added a Vega Pro 50 fence and it has been a dream!
I have a bunch of old hand planes from my grandfather that I am working on restoring.
Plenty of saws, drills, jigs, and other small tools.
ToDo:
Tablesaw rolling storage unit
Outfeed/Assembly Table
Router Extension Table
Update 8/9/2017
I have completed a couple shop improvements and the space is really starting to take shape! Currently that shape is in the form of a 1985 Honda Goldwing I am restoring but before the Wing moved in I finished (for now) some projects.
I built my crosscut sled!
I built a "Hyper Organized Shop" storage wall with a few solutions
I purchased a decent set of Narex chisels for $25
I started my Router Table (Table Saw Extension)
I built a homemade air filtration unit as well and is under my projects!
I purchased an old 60 Gallon compressor that is older than I am and I built a cooling "radiator" to reduce moisture in the line for finishes!
I also built a bench for more motorcycle related processes and the drill press (Thanks HOT DEALS Thread)!
Thanks for looking!
