Project Information

Mahogany primary, poplar secondary, q.s. white oak, mahogany crotch veneer, fiddle-back maple veneer, big-leaf Western maple burl inlays, scorched maple bellflower inlays, maple stringing, maple purfling, maple and walnut & mahogany banding, holly & ebony stringing. 6+ coats pre-cat sprayed lacquer finish. Special thanks go to Mario Rodriguez and Alan Turner (Picasso & Rembrandt) of the Philadelphia Furniture Workshop and my wife, Linda, for their support, care and tutilage, without which this beautiful piece of furniture would not have been possible.
I'll try one in Walnut now.

Beautiful table and wonderful craftmanship and artistry. Are you the new instructor at the Philadelphia
Furniture workshop, or just the new master cabinetmaker? I will never be able to attempt the skills you have
shown here, but would you tell us what type of hinges you used on that folding top? Thank you for
