Project Information

"Faith. Hope. Love" hand carved basswood box.

Box sizes:
Outer:
length: 13 cm (5,12"), width: 11,3 cm (4,45"), height: 6,9 cm (2,72");
Inner:
length: 10,4 cm (4,09"), width: 9,1 cm (3,58"), height: 2,3 cm (0,91").

Finish: milk paint, satin wax, cotton fabric liner.

It's too bad about the tearout in the routed lid- someone needs to sharpen their bit. It takes away from your crisp well proportioned carving. As always your carving is superb.

It's probably a camera artifact, since it doesn't show up in picture #2, as far as I can tell.

I have to agree. Your skill just gets better and better with each box and I haven't seen one that lacked in any way.
Beautiful box, I love the two tone color and the six sided design. You keep improving in leaps and bounds and you keep pushing the creative envelope.
