So looking at your designs for this from your blog what caused you to go from three drawers/doors to two?

Good stuff! The woods work nicely with one another - there is a lot of visual interest in the woods you selected.

Looks like a case you ought to be pretty proud of!

Thanks everybody!

Damian - after monkeying with the model in sketchup, I decided 2 doors would work better for storage room. And that detail on the top made it look too much like a drysink.

Dorje - thanks! I only see the mistakes (and let me tell you, there are many). But I'm just happy to have built something of that size. Next I guess will be the kitchen… :S

Nice job I like the wood choices. I am building a trunk now with walnut and cherry and I hope it looks as nice as this.
