Project Information

This table was built to match the tv cabinet I built for friends. It is Quartersawn White oak to match with solid dovetail drawer boxes I used biscuts and pocket screws to assemble the parts. I am hoping to have a mortiser for the next table I build. I have some through tenon joints in my head waiting to be made.

Very clean lines. A beautiful piece. How did you resist showing us your dovetails? I've done mortising with a drill press, forstner bits and chisels. Maybe not as easy as using a mortiser, but not bad.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'm loving having my own shop at home to build projects. I am very lucky to have found a career that I love both at work and when I get home.
