Hey Larry,
That's sweet. Glad to see some boards are still being made.
I bet it was debated on how to end the repeating 4 way match - with a 4 way on each end, or a split on each end. I think you chose wisely with the split.

Very nice Degoose. I watched your class on the subject and found it to be very well done. I have one last project on the bench (routing key holes in a display case) and Ill be working on my first end grain. I have one question for you. Do you think you can really get 170 Australian dollars for that board? (i did the conversion its about $157 US dollars) That would be outstanding if you can!

Larry,

Making end-grain boards again - fantastic!

That's a lot of sandpaper you are using - if you only had a CNC Machine, you could possibly chuck a larger, ballnose bit and take maybe a thou or two off the entire top surface to make it perfectly smooth…......

Now where could you get a CNC from??? Hmmmmmmm…...........

;-)

Cheers!

Larry great work as always…. Love the pattern and flow of this. I think $170 is a good price. I won't do them for less than $175 or $200 here in Southern California. I was so tired of making them for a while. Funny thing happened though as the price went up people wanted them more. (Land of the fruit & nuts LOL ) A good friend of mine said don't be afraid to charge for your time. All of us Lumberjocls know how much effort we put into them no doubt. With that said, it is all about what the market bares….

Love seeing your work, thx.
