End-of-the-world chair

1 boring weekend + a bunch of scrap 2 X stock + a lot of planing/jointing = 2 Adirondack chairs for less than $60 worth of lumber and hardware. They are incredibly comfortable. So comfortable I told my wife on 12/21/12 we will drag them over next to our fire pit, put up our feet, pop some adult beverages, and wait for the end. If we are all still here after 12/21/12, I guess I will change their names to the "Mayans were off" chairs.
