Project Information

This is my $8 end table. I picked up the end-grain fir flooring from a local used building materials store for $6, and glued it to two pieces of plywood ($1 each) from the same store. The legs and trim are cut from some free old 2×4's from a neighbor's remodel. I think the nail holes add a little character. The dimensions are about 22"x32"x18", but it weighs about 60 pounds as the flooring is 1" thick.

DAMN! that's more than I'd ever get for $8.

Don't you just love it when you are able to use others cast outs? Outstanding

Fantastic piece of work from what would have been discarded materials. Nice clean lines and it really showcases all of that fabulous endgrain. Thanks for sharing.
