Project Information

Here's my version of an end grain cutting board.

I was going to make one like this since I haven't seen one like it before but Steve beat me to it. :)

So I had to come up with another design as you can see above.

The woods are:

Hard Maple
Peruvian Walnut
Cherry
and Canary wood for the little triangles.

The board is 1" thick.

Took about 3 days to glue up!

This is my 5th project in less than a month. I'm on a roll!

Ha! I believe that is the first time I have ever beaten you at anything.
Good job. You really know how to push the limits.

Great to have you back Gary,

Wow! I'm speachless. What patience you have Gary! Congrats. This is a very attractive cutting board. It should see lots of food and hear lots of compliments.

Best,

Serge

Your version is really tough. Gary all pieces are cut from smaller blocks and it will be more difficult to do. The accuracy is superb. Getting that small triangle in 6 pieces per hexagon will already be tiresome.

Excellent. Thanks for posting.

Another truly artistic creation raising the standard of excellence. To call this a cutting board is a slander!
