What's the wing rib from? Or is that the start of a nice homebuilt project. My retirement dream project is to build a Falco one day…..

The wing rib is an "extra" from a Stearman repair my airframe instructor did. The nose block is the only original (before repair) part on the rib, the rest is new material. I borrowed the rib to make a jig for some as of yet undetermined future project. :)

I did get a thumbs up from my wife to make some aircraft parts like this wing rib and hang them on the wall in our living room! I also want to make some 1/4 scale ribs based on this airfoil and layout for gifts and decoration.

After I finish A&P school in May I will start thinking about a build project. I started to build a Volksplane project (an all wood construction) before I started school but decided not to continue it because my mission requirements have changed.

Thanks Redryder.

That was actually one of my cleaner moments. ;-)

I'm in the shop now trying to figure out how I can make it tighter and righter.

The beer and peanuts are keeping me from doing anything spur of the moment and stupid. :)

Cool! Have you looked at the Corby Starlet? One of my favortie all-wood planes, and aerobatic too!

SawdustTX, I looked at the Starlet. I think I might have an info packet on that airplane somewhere.

Are you a pilot? Experimental builder? I just took the leap and got my EAA Lifetime membership.
