Workshop Information

Location
United States
I'm just beginning, and I don't own the place I live, so space and tools are limited. I actually have a great time learning how do things without proper tools.

I have:
Craftsman 10" table saw
Craftsman bandsaw
Various jigs (Kreg4, etc)
Dremel XPR 400 with a many versatile attachments

Next stop is a Bosch 1617 router kit and a router table, and hopefully a lathe

I'd really love to make my own nutcrackers. They've enchanted me since I was a kid, and have nearly 70 in a collection at my parent's house in Virginia.

I have to agree with David that it sounds like you are off to a good start on your shop. How about posting some pictures of your shop space when you get a chance? One of my constant themes that I emphasize is that any shop is a good shop.

I appreciate the encouragement. Picture a grill with a grill cover sitting on a covered porch. Now picture that under the grill cover is actually a table saw, not a grill. Welcome to my wood shop. hahaha
