Project Information

I just finsihed building my last (?) shop table (at least for a little while).

This table was built using re-dimensioned construction lumber from the big box store. Price for building the table was only about $24 (without casters). The casters were expensive, as they both lock the wheel and the pivot point. This makes the table very stable.

As you can see, I built this one for my new Dewalt Planer.

The complete blog with instructions can be found here: Easy Shop Table

Hope you like it!

Nice, looks very sturdy. Should have no problem holding your planer.

I just finished assembly of this table today for my new Makita 2012NB Planer. I still have to install the MDF insert top and bottom. Thanks for the step by step. I followed them exactly as you instructed. I can already see where I will be needing a few more like this for my shop.

Glad to see you were able to put my plans to work. These have been great tables, use them almost everyday. As you have noticed, they are strong as an ox. Please post a picture when you have a chance!
