This is my workbench. The first larger project I have done. I am proud of the top. Hard Maple with accents of Purpleheart. After I finished it my wife informed me that she does not care for purpleheart. Oh well. I still like the bench and currently am adding a cabinet underneath for storage.

Looks like a basement shop. Any other interesting tools and fixtures?

A nice bench Doc. I like the purpleheart accents. I am with Wayne, how about some more shop pictures too?

Bill, more shop pictures would require cleaning it up more…...but I will work on it.

Like the other comments I really enjoy the picture of your bench. Do you have any additional pictures of your shop? Decluttering and cleaning up a shop just to post pictures of it makes it look like it is not being used. Shops are tools themselves and should be used or they look rather lonely to me.

Well the first thing we need to do is get you started on some cupboards and pegboard!

Looks like my place after a clean up!

Beautiful bench. Seems a shame to use it.

Very nice bench. Like Bob said, you need to get some organization going or you're going to wind up like Karson. :]

Those pictures were taking in the middle of making the changing table. The shop was at its worse, I was under the gun. There is nothing worse than having a pregnant wife as a foreman on the job.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the additional pictures. I know what you mean about your shop being at its worst during a build. All my hand tools seem to migrate to my assembly bench during a project and eventually I don't have any room to assemble the piece.

I have enjoyed the tour.
