Project Information

Drill press station from pics on the internet. I have a small shop (260 square feet) so I have to utilize all the space the best I can manage. I've been building tool cabinets with lots of storage. This is a design I kept seeing so I cobbled something together and put my DP on an inexpensive base from Harbor Freight. Typical build but I really enjoyed building the drawers (hung with hardwood slides), the trim and the drawer pulls. Its the third cabinet/mobile base I've made in March. Can't wait til the finish dries then I can load it up with all the accessories that are cluttering up my shop.

I'll post a few pics of the other two cabinets….

Here are a few more pics of the other recent cabinets….

and a glimpse of the table top for my ridgid tablesaw… serves as an assembly table and can be removed and set up as an outfeed table on the saw or completely removed and set up outside too.

Very nice. I built mine a few years ago and love the space saving/storage design.

Nice work, you will appreciate it when you get to move in and have things exactly where you want them. Now to remember where they are though? LOL

You have great timing sir as I was just looking at others to get an idea to build one myself. I like the dark stain on these. I will hopefully be able to start building mine next weekend depending on the weather.
