Project Information

Lounge chair, This is a neat design Ive been thinking about, it was a good way to utilize some great arch pieces Ive been saving. Built from salvaged cedar roots the back is a red cedar burl and the seat is a cedar root split open to reveal that beautiful compression grain, finished with a oil finish.

Thanks LJs

Hey Jeffro, you just have a way of reassembling mother natures cast offs into a fabulous piece of practical art.
Another great job :))

Incredible vision and skill and effort. And you must have amazing tools and access to great raw materials.

Another magnificent chair. It creates a number of different images. From the front it does look like mammoth tusks. The back view on the other hand has a sense of movement, some type of star wars speeder. Another piece of creative masterwork.

Breathtaking, no other words I can think of describe this, like all your pieces. You have a great eye for seeing the natural detail in the wood and bringing it too its full potential.

Fantastic art, sculpture, furniture or all the above! Just looking at your creations makes me want to go hunt driftwood in the lake. Somehow I just don't think my results would be anywhere near your art. Wow
