Project Information

Driftwood canopy bed, A buddy of mine had me build this for him and then ship it Maui and set it up. The bed was built from cedar roots and poles with a nice cedar burl in the face, the two top roots took me awhile too come up with a good matching pair. Finished with poly, I had to build it to pull apart and reassemble, all in all it was a awesome journey.

Thanks for lookin

This is astounding. There's something so primal about it that I can't even really picture it in a standard bedroom…nice to fall asleep looking up at your surfboard.

Wish I had your artistic imagination.

I know you can surf in Washington but I see Palm trees. So where is this bed located, really?

Catch a wave, dude. Unique bed, looks like the Flintstones meet Gilligan's island. Another great piece…...and to be able to work in your bare feet, even better. Thanks for sharing.

Another beautiful project with that Jeffro style and flair. Looks like you had nice weather for the build. How was it shipped?
I must say that is more symmetrical than most of your stuff I have seen. Still looks great though.
