I started building the shop myself about three years ago and added the additional section last summer. As you can see the property is hilly. Also pictured is a solar kiln I am experimenting with. First rule, don't part it in the shade. I bought a band saw mill with a good friend, cut a bunch of wood and then needed to do something with it, so I made the kiln. Worked pretty well before the leaves on the trees filled out. I have about 500bf of cherry it in now. I built a small table out of it yesterday. It is the first project in which I cut the tree, milled the lumber, dried the lumber, and made something out of it. I really don't want to think about the actual cost at this point. Came out pretty good (picture in projects section) but I need to put a finish on it.
