Project Information

These boxes were designed to hold packs of tea bags by Fine Woodworkings Mike Peckovich. The largest is about 12" x 4" x 4", quarter sawn white oak, white pine lining, hemp, and an ebony clasp. The pins and tails protrude slightly. The smaller boxes pictured are beech and tiger maple. Over the past few weekends I made a total of 13 boxes (most small in walnut) as Christmas gifts for my staff and family. The finish is thinned shellac and wax.
Cheers,

Beautiful work Glen. I love the rustic look of the tails and pins protruding.
