Project Information

Hey Lumberjocks
My daughter requested a small picnic table for my grandkids. So I decided to make a small table from Doug Fir. It's of the mini size; 31" tall, seats are 21" tall and 48" in width and length. I really focused on making sure that this would never tip over. I sanded to 180 and finished with Linseed Oil. likely I will oil the table again and put some poly on it once we place it outside.
Thanks for checking out the Doug Fir picnic table.
Greg

nicely done, Greg !! I bet the kids will enjoy it a lot.

just for your own peace of mind, you could put bags of sand or cement
on one seat to actually know what the tip-over weight would be.
