Project Information

This chair was built using 2'' QTD Lacewood with Ebony plugs, it is based off the design of Hal Taylor large but adapted to seat 2 people.

The chair features:

Coopered Headrest
Form fitting flexible back braces
Hand sculpted everything
Hand rubbed oil finish
Bent lamination - rockers and back braces
Seating for 2

Very nice, where did you get the 2" lacewood? I've never been able to find any that thick.

Burlington Exotics here in Burlington, Ontario, Canada stocks 2'' QTD Lacewood I think they also have 2'' leopard wood and actually know the difference

Thanks everyone and Mike i've read and watched so many things on Sam that I feel like I know him, but I never had a chance to meet him, in fact I did't even know he existed until about 1 year ago!!!! Such great inspiration he is, i'm glad he was able to do what he did and teach others his values and work ethiic, it doesn't feel like he tried to teach it was just part of him, who he was.
