Project Information
I did not realize just how long it has been since I last built a piece of furniture for my office. My side table was built 1060 days ago. So it is with great pleasure I add another piece to my collection. The unit that served as my side table before my side table was relegated to being a printer stand. A matching stand was on my list of to do's for quite some time.
Like the rest of my furniture this one is built completely out of standard dimensioned lumber. All of which I am happy to say I had already. I bought nothing for this unit, I even had some extra shelf pins that I had hoarded away in order to support the 2 adjustable shelves. The finish is Antique Oak by General Finishes, it matches all the rest of my furniture and I had a some left over as well as a spare can.
I plan to have a much shorter time between the next piece as my wood is already cut, legs are made and I just have to screw it together and put the stain on it. Hopefully will finish before the end of the weekend. Looking forward to getting it into my office and my office put together and organized.
