I think clock face is the most important part in clock making because it's the face itself.
I found the clock face(it's a print on thick parchment paper) from clockface.com.
Also you can get some nice ones from clockparts.com and clockit.com.
It is finished with tung oil three times.

It's walnut and yellow heart, a sort of exotic wood.
You can buy from any woodshop.
