Oh by the way, the total price: around 3€ for the dowel and 1,50€ worth of hardware.

The table turned out great! some times simplicity Is better I like the look of light natural wood.

@Eric: exactly what I thought when I saw that very pallet. I already had three of them dismantled and ready for use, but when I saw the nice, clean wood on that one, it was an instant fave.

@B13: I also like the color of that nice unweathered pine :) Fits nicely for this indoors table.

Great second life for a pallet. That's fine "green" woodworking. The tree lives on, with a better life as a table than a pallet.
