Fast bird house build,or slow door project? Seems like closing up the gaping hole in your house would have priority!
Great work, thanks for sharing it with us.

They're all amazing! Do you have a way to clean them out, or is it the responsibility of the tennant?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments . I drill the holes to 1 3/8" . It is big enough for sparrows and wrens and too small for starlings .. The house is attached with 4- 3" screws . Once they are removed all the insides slide out for easy cleaning .

I see you added a nice railing detail to the front…looks good! The Cape Cod I built for my step daughters grand parents finally has birds in it! It only took about three years for the finish I used to off gas enough for the birds to use it..next time, I'll go with the same sealer you use..

I hate to be contrary but this house is for the birds! I really like this one a lot.

I have an appreciation for bird houses as that is what my uncle, recently deceased, used to build. His shop was too small to build much of anything and he had no power tools.

Thanks for posting another good looking project!
