Designing the two car garage layout now to work with not only woodworking, stain glass/mosaic restoration/preservation area, build my MUST have espresso/coffee IV hook-up area! Have seen some amazing shops here!
I restored (as much as possible, 135 yr old Queen Anne Victorian home in MA. Oh how I miss the work of the ole masters of that house!! The basement aka shop had 9' ceilings and several storage areas where all my tools/supplies lived; it was double in size of my current garage set up.

Wore many hats, oldest of 4 girls who loved to take apart build/rebuild. My bf and I fought the school system in Jr high to allow "girls" to take wood and metal shop and spoke for the boys who wanted to become chefs! We won and I haven't stopped building; to this day my mom still has the first woodworking project, a shelf I made (a few years ago?)

Finally back! Well I survived my first hurricane here $&@?! SALLY! I felt like I was watching water boil waiting up for 3 days straight until he hit us.
Workshop, family, house are all good. Trees not so good, wood here has become stupid expensive! But! Sally got me motivated to start the workshop organization and build. PLEASE laugh when you see the chaos! It took my 7 days to cut up the fallen trees and 30 minutes to destroy the garage/workshop trying to find my extra chainsaw chains etc to clean up Sally's temper tantrum. Work has be running ragged and we simply can't keep up with the wood, fencing etc demand. I try and build a little building at lunchtime! Believe it or not I know where things are now after this destruction and slowly building the shop!
