Project Information

I haven’t been on here for a while because my daughter asked if I could build her new cabinet drawers and doors for her kitchen. I underestimated how long it would take to do it. 23 doors and 7 drawers.
It was a great project but I don’t think I would do it again.

Nicely done, great project completed Yes they take a bit of time to build. How did you finish the doors, (brush and roll or sprayed)? Either way they turned out great. Guess she owes you a few dinners out of that kitchen.

That looks great. Nice work... but oof I can't imagine all the parts. Just staging all the cabinets some place before install is a difficult thing.

Beautiful job Rich. How did you refinish the boxes? Any issue with the grain?

The drawer boxes are finished with water based poly, everything else is sprayed with SW urethane enamel.

Rich, did you spray the frames/cabinet boxes in place or remove them? May have to do for my daughter.

I used a brush on the face frames, the paint I used flows very well. ( SW urethane enamel) it’s a bit expensive but worth every penny.
