A friend asked if I could make a dashboard for his street rod (pics coming once he installs) and these were the leftover pieces. The pyramid was what was left from the plywood used to make an angled sled for my planer, augmented with a piece of walnut that was the first attempt at resawing on my new craftsman band saw (yay! New saw).
The board is my first attempt at a block vs a strip cutting board. Figured it made sense to start small, asmI have little confidence in my skills. Good thing too - I forgot to check the blade for square and ended with two small gaps that I filled with sawdust and superglue.
