Project Information

Wood And Materials Used
cocobolo and damascus steel
Tools Used
band saw and grinding tools
Location
so cal
these are made from damascus steel. LJ'S member (ken90712) turned me onto the company he used to make his.it was over a year ago when i bought them and have forgotten the name.maybe ken will see this and chime in with the company name. the handles are made from cocobolo with stainless steel pins.the finish is 3 coats of general finishes semi gloss oil based arm r seal.i could have skipped the finish though, coco is very hard and polishes up very well. kinda hard to see the beauty of the deamascus pattern.

OH KNIFE SWAP GUYS,NONE OF YOU ARE GETTING THESE,SORRY.

Those are some great looking knives pottz. I have never been interested in making knives until I saw these. Probably one of the top 5 projects I have seen on Lumberjocks ever that I have wanted to make. Please post the source for the blades when you figure it out. WOW! This would be a great project to Journal the process of how you made them from start to finish.
