Workshop Information

United States
Workshop, if you want to call it that, is a small single car garage with not a whole lot of space. I've collected some tools so far but haven't started any major projects yet.

Attached, a set of planes I ordered from Lee Valley, Lie Nielsen, and Stanley.

Shown is a medium router plane, bullnose, small and medium shoulder planes from Veritas, 60 1/2 and #4 from Stanley. Then a #5 1/2, #6, #7 and right hand skew rabbit planes from Veritas, and a Lie Nielsen tongue and groove plane.

Just getting started…

Congratulation on your retirement, and thank you for your service. Woodworking is a great hobby. I retired a few years ago and built a canoe, I think your dream of attending a boat building school is admirable and I hope you can make it happen. Good luck.

Thanks for the welcome.

Jim, I have a 7 month old daughter. I made a cradle boat from a kit before she was born (not knowing we were having a girl) made by not exactly done but it's together.

Putting up an updated pic of all the planes I now have that a friend was asking to see.
