Thank you for your kind words. The wood is Black Limba and was purchased on Ebay at a store called
ExoticWoods. I think they're in TN, and they are very nice and knowledgeable people with an awesome collection of lumber.

Very nice looking boards..!!..the orientation certainly makes for an outstanding look..!..

Must admit I have never heard of the black limba type wood…will have to check it out for sure, curious if that is spalting or just the natural look of the wood..??!!

Thank you for the friendly advice on the sealing and cleaning of the black limba cutting board and the link to the information on the aforementioned.
I took a magnifying glass out for reading small print and the limba looked huge just like the ones' in the link.
