Project Information

Here are a few of the recent cutting boards I've made in my tiny basement workshop. The first is modeled after an MTMwood original and the last is modeled after The Wood Whisperer. The middle 4 are from my own funny brain. Hope you like them.

Thanks to Chevybowtieguy and Degoose… you both have the dubious distinction of being the first few to comment on anything I've posted… Thanks for the support…

Nice boards! I just discovered MTMWoods stuff this week thanks to another LJ. Great stuff. Consider the first board re-stolen.

Sandra… Thanks for the kind words. I have a feeling that the more people discovering MTMwood the more we'll have re re re stolen cutting boards showing up here… I am going to attempt another of his 3D cutting boards later in February - the one where the board resembles a vortex or a funnel or sorts… Wish me luck.

Where do ou find the designs for these boards?

They are so nice, I wouldn't want to put anything on them.
Quite beautiful!

Thanks JL7 and a1Jim….

Steve/Sawdustjunkie, I get a lot of great inspiration from a you tube site by MTMWood… I believe he's from Russia, but he produces beautiful boards and at times helpful videos… his collection of 3D boards is fantastic and I am over time going to be trying out other designs… he literally has hundreds of boards on his web site as well… www.mtmwood.com

Take a look…

Nice cutting boards. I can't imagine the time and effort went into those boards. You have great attention to
details. Great job!

Thanks Surfside, I hope the time and effort will decrease as I get better at this new craft… I guess it's always the result whether you're starting out or a professional.
