Project Information

I have needed this in a bad way since building my new woodshop last summer. Finally found a design to steal….I mean borrow…. and adjust to my space. 2 sheets of plywood, a handful of pocket screws, some Titebond, 4 swivel casters and about 3 hours is my investment for a very useful cart. Not real pretty, but I can't believe the amount of cutoffs and scraps it holds. I hope this post finds someone that can re-steal the design for themselves.

thanks,

Jerry

I hate to burst your bubble, Jerry, but you will still have piles of wood. These great cutoff boxes only make it possible to collect more wood!
This is a nice one, though.

I am going to modify my roll around scrap cart to work more like yours. Great design. Thanks

Dave's Corollary Rule of Workspace #37
Your "keeper" pile is always 125% bigger than what you just built to put it all into…

Very nice! I'm borrowing this design.

I like it, although I might make mine just a little taller to handle tall sheet good more easily of course it would need to be a little wider to keep it stable. Hmmmmmmmm what to do, what to do. Width, maybe add another set of bins on the other side. Well anyway I hope you get a lot of good use out of it until you hit the Ellen point.

Jerry;

I started building a "cutoff" cart for my shop today and it would not even make a "little brother" to yours.

Thanks for sharing this one.

Dang it, I just made one of these that's nowhere near as nice, now I have to tear it apart and do something like this.

Thanks for the inspiration!

If I had the room in my shop, I would've built one a long time ago alas I use my new add on shed for scraps.
