thanks guys but i cant take all the credit. the original was made by garrett glasser. now we share simmilar chests and first names.

I love chests. There's just something intriguing about them that makes you want to lift the lid to see what lies within. You did a great job, very impressive.

Sugatsune SDS Lapcon Soft-Down Lid Stay was used for lid purchased through lee valley but you can find all over the web.
