Project Information

A simple little project. It was great practice for cutting hand cut dovetails. I did about 18 of them.

They were favors for guests who came to my sons baptism.

Walnut, spray can Shellac, sanded with 400 grit, then dark waxed.

Oh, and I carved a very simple grove down the middle with my V parting tool. This was cut after the finish was done. I think it adds a nice accent that really completes it.

My mother-in-law and wife made the stone beads.

Thanks for looking,

Mauricio

They did except for the people who didnt RSVP and wanted to come anyway, and skip the ceremony and just come to dinner. Some family… They didnt get crosses. This was good dovetail practice by the way.
