Project Information

A coworker of mine asked me to make a cribbage board for his neighbor. His neighbor is soon retiring from high end gun appraisals for auctions. We are talking $50,000+ guns! I could never afford such a thing. My coworker has always appreciated how good a neighbor this guy was and wanted to do something special for him.

The board is curly maple, curly walnut, and curly maple inlay with a laser engraved lever action gun and the guys name. The walnut piece was the closet thing I had to a nicely figured gun stock. The engraving was done by a local guy with a laser machine.

All in all my coworker was happy with it and I can't wait to hear how his neighbor likes it. Thanks for looking.

I love playing cribbage, especially around the holidays with the family. Your design and choice of woods looks awesome together.

Thanks for sharing.
