Project Information

Hi ,this is a project I did in 2006, It is one of my personal photos(I enjoy taking my own photo and designing them into patterns). Designing this pattern was fun because of all the trees and how I was going to make my cuts. I made it one cut on the trees to the right (first challenge)the second challenge was the small branch on the left. This project was displayed in an art show at our local musem for a month in May 2007. I dont know how many cuts or how long it took , I used my craftman scroll saw to do the project . Thank you for viewing this project.

Excellent work, Todd!

I don't know much about scrolling…. what thickness wood do you normally use?

Hello SCROLLSAW

This project is outstanding. I can't imagine how much patience you have to do such great work. To cut out the pattern makes you a craftsmen. To take the picture and turn it into a pattern makes you an artist.

Looks great Todd. I agree with Scott - turning a picture to a pattern then making it out of wood makes you an artist. Way to go!

Hi Todd,

This is a gorgeous piece. You replicated the photo well and you truly displayed your artistic talents here as well.

I am glad that this one came back up on my list too. I would have hated to miss it.

Thanks for the post.
