My wife is really into the country furniture, so I built her this trash can keeper in a country style to hid our plan white plastic trash can we have in the kitchen. I built it out of 1 4X8 sheet of 3/4" plywood and then painted it a dark wine color to match the accents on our new wall paper. We need to finish some painting on the inside and put a stop chain on the inside so the door stops at a certain point, but aside from that its all hers.
