Project Information

Our middle daughter saw the little timber Christmas trees I'd made for the local community clubs fund raiser and commented that she'd like a set for her Christmas table decorations.

Of course I took the hint and secretly made a set for her.

Offcuts and recycled/reclaimed timber laminated together to give a contrast.

The top piece of timber was a very rich dark red but looks dark brown with the finish.

One at 8" (200mm) and two at 6" (150mm) with both finished with my homemade WipeOnPoly.

I got the biggest smile and hug; paid in full.

Great job Peter, they look really nice and the darker wood on top adds to the trees. Yes, a hug is priceless.

Thank you ladies and gents for the kind words of encouragement.
YES, she was very pleased to receive them.
It's so good to make and give beaut timber gifts.

The last day of 2021 downunder, its been a challenging year; but tomorrow brings a new day and another year of ups, downs, challenges; so it's about making the most of each new day.

A Happy and Prosperous 2022 to all my LumberJock friends across the world from the Great Southern Land.
