Project Information

The drills/drivers are needed for every project, so I wanted to put together something that gave me easy access to all of them and also allowed me to have chargers handy if needed. This charging/storage station has been perfect so far. The unit is 20" wide and 11" deep. I mounted the power strip to keep charging and cord management simple, as I only have one outlet on this side of the garage. I mounted with a french cleat and left a gap in the middle for cord storage. It has definitely been handy and solves my problem!

A nicely done shop organizer!!!

This is on my very long "To-Do" list, but it is towards the top!
As soon as I finish installing French Cleats in the entire shop, that is!!!

Yours look really neat Tyler.

Here's an old picture of mine hanging under a cabinet.
The chargers sit on a shelf just below it.
Three of those drills are now long gone.

Thanks everyone!

Pbmaster11: I ran across your project when you posted it several days back. As you can probably tell, I used some of your design and added a couple things that were needed for my intended use. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome solution! I use a similar "design" to store my pipe clamps. By design, I mean the same kind of slots cut into a 2×6 and Kreg jigged onto the wall haha. It works like a charm, and I'm sure yours does, too.
