Project Information
This is a 3 inch oak wood feather. I used my pattern and glue spray to put on the wood I made for this feather.
tools are drill press to drill a hole in the center.
Scroll saw to cut out the center.
band saw with 1/8th inch blade to get tight cuts done.
white masking tape to help hold the board together as I make the compound cuts.
real fine sand paper to make it real smooth.
Plan on tying a leather string with a colorful bead to it and hanging this on my rear view mirror in my van.
I got the feather pattern from one of the scroll saw books I bought but added to the pattern to make it
a compound cut to put the twist in the feather as it is.
Thanks for checking out my work.
