Pencil box
Gene style

This little box owns its life to Gene, he made a wonderful little box and since that day I knew I had to try the same game.

Gene's box.

So the game was on, some packs of color pencils, super glue and patience.
The rest was just cuts and glue.

I love this little box, thank you Gene.

Colorfull cut Ofs.

Coffee and color - what more can one ask for?

Pictures:
1. Pencil box - full of things I love.
2. Glued up and cut.
3. Starting to look like a box.
4. Details.
5. Under.
6. Thank you Gene.

I hope this could be to some inspiration, it sure was for me…

This one is for Paul - Shipwright.

MaFe

Great interpretation of Gene's box. I thought it was a really fun idea. I'll have to wait till the kids are grown. If I used colored pencils in that manner they would have my skin. LOL.

That's just great. This is why we're here: to inspire and learn from each other.

On that topic Mads, can you teach me to do the feather in my cappuccino? I've never been (bean?) able to get that right.

Wonderful box Mads. Is that a theme box? :)

Is the first pencil box not dedicated to keep pencils !!

Thank you for mentioning Gene´s box, which I had missed.

Now, feathering capuccinos calls for a blog ,

Very colorful, Mads. I'll bet that you really had a lot of fun with this one. I'll also bet that that pipe of yours really smoked this one over. The thing that slowed this one down was you saying, "OK, now which color next?" I know how you think - everything has to be just so. It's really a neat little project, Mads. I like it.

Cool!
As a retired school teacher I have about a gazillion pencil pieces from cleaned out desks/lockers. Think I'll try this!

Love it. I was going to make one with all #2 pencils. I think I like the color pencils better.
