Project Information

After much head scratching, I was able to replicate BedHedNed's similar bowl from an earlier posting http://lumberjocks.com/projects/209882 (though mine isn't quite as perfect as his).

Wood is all natural colors: purple heart, maple, yellow heart, padauk, and wenge. 115 pieces total glued together and turned on lathe. Fun project but took a long time to make it.

I'm not a big turner, but that is beautiful, and I think a lot of Women would kill to have that in their homes.

One thing I do know for certain is that wood, didn't just randomly appear in that sequence, so pre-turning that is a grand slam.

I can't imagine how long it took to make that incredible bowl. That is probably the nicest turning I've ever seen. Congrats on your DT3's you make beautiful stuff.
