collapsible kneeling bench

I made this project based on a collapsible Japanese kneeling bench. you can see something similar in the sashimono episode of begin Japanology () . I made it for a hand tool woodworking class and cut all the joints and did all the surfacing by hand.

unlike the original I made this as a stand to raise my harp a few more inches off the ground so it is at a better height while playing it and could be collapsed and carried with the harp when not in use, none of the joints are glued so that it can be taken apart and flat packed
