I see you have left the plastic covers on your bits. You may be building another bit holder to set the uncovered bits flat/ I started out with a similar design and quickly changed this up after raking my hand across the top of the standing uncovered bits. ouch.

I think you may be right…I have already hit them a few times. Luckily skins heals and does not degrade the bits…which are costly.
