Project Information

I seem to spend lots of time building drawers or other boxes. I usually find myself using numbers of small clamps. I hate clutter and I found myself always one clamp short. I built this small caddy which holds 10 small clamps. I can pick it up from my clamp storage and move it to the project and minimize clutter. Easy project, very handy.

Cool idea. Those are the handiest size clamps. You can never have too many of them. Nice way to take them with you so they are handy for the project. Did you incorporate some way to hang the whole assembly, clamps and all on the wall or store it away somewhere to keep them handy? Very useful.

Great idea, Bill. Now I just need to buy enough clamps to justify building one myself! :-D

Scott:

I'm not sure where Bill got his but I've been eyeballing one here: Incra's Precision Squares and Miters

Nice idea. I bet if you put a french cleat on the bottom you could make it hang then lift it off when you need it at the bench.
