Project Information

This was a simple project I completed over the Christmas Holiday. We bought a new Christmas tree this year, but my wife didn't like the wire-frame base that it came with. I decided to build a 4-sided box (open on the top and bottom, and one side hinged), that would cover the base and give it a more rustic feel. It's made out of some spare pieces of 4/4 white pine and 1/2" maple veneer faced plywood, then finished it with Cabot interior stain/sealer (espresso color).

I think it turned out pretty well, and most importantly, my wife loves it :)
