So here's this week's update for the woodworking show I am doing in Virgina:
My crafts will be featured at the 2010 Winter crafts show at Wakefield Park on Saturday, December 4th (9AM-4PM) and Sunday, December 5th (10AM-3:30PM). The address is: Audrey Moore RECenter, Wakefield Park, 8100 Braddock Rd., Annandale, VA 22003, 703-321-7082.
this is a bandsaw box made of maple burl. I really like the texture of the wood, it reminds me of an elephant's foot. I will apply some boiled linseed oil and a wipe on polyurethane as the finish.
it's not sanded. Just finished gluing last night and will sand when i have a moment
I have another bandsawbox saved to my projects link. I'll try to remember to post some photos of both boxes with linseed oil and poly finish
